TSJISSE TALSMA is one of eight Fontanel Dutch Design Talents 2016. Freshly graduated from the Groningen art academy, Tsjisse has already developed a specific style that measures up to that of the establishment. Born and raised in a small Friesian village, he drastically opened up his small world two years ago by continuing his studies in Philadelphia while working in New York and subsequently obtaining an internship in London. His work developed as strongly as his experience increased. Talsma’s illustrations can be described as abstract forms that need to be examined to be understood. They’re brilliant, as those that take their time will see.
