Initially only the skin and the shape of  Sejoon Kim’s work caught our eye at the Object Rotterdam design fair. Later, we noticed the stray doll sitting beside it, and only later still did we understand that the dolls literally create the pattern and the skin of the objects. Gruesome or obscure? It made us laugh out loud. Sejoon Kim tosses the dolls in the liquid substance and together they melt into a new reality. To infinity … and beyond!
