British jewellery designer Solange Azagury-Partridge had the honour of designing a box of macarons for Parisian Ladurée. The rainbow is an important theme in her work, which also shows in the colourful winding staircase in her home. The macarons have all the colours of the spectrum and the light brown one in the middle is a new flavour: ‘Solangette’ – chocolate and orange, mmmm – created especially by Solange and pastry chef Claire Heitzler.
