"As well as any traditional forest, a Vertical Forest starts with a tree. Today in Eindhoven a multidisciplinary team working on the project has visited the Van Den Berk nursery in order to select the plants and trees that will be planted on the balconies of the first social housing building of a kind. Stefano Boeri has personally inaugurated the realization phase of the project with this important step, along with the agronomist Laura Gatti, the Project Director of Stefano Boeri Architetti Francesca Cesa Bianchi, architects Carolina Boccella and Paolo Russo, who’s the Project leader of Trudo Vertical Forest.
One of the very important aspects of this building to be built in the Netherlands is its social impact, hence the very first realization step was accompanied by communication team, in charge for storytelling about this newborn creature and its true protagonists. The Communication Coordinator of the studio Camilla Pusateri has directed the foto and video shooting of the selection process realized by The Blink Fish, which will become the first chapter in this new Forest Tale."
